Steven Angel – Senior Vice President of Referee Operations and Analytics

Since 2008, Steven Angel has served as the Senior Vice President of Referee Operations and Analytics for the National Basketball Association (NBA). He is also the Chief of Staff and is responsible for coordinating various activities for the basketball and referee operations, legal and communications departments. Angel examines game and referee analytics, monitors wagering activity on NBA games and designs the league’s referee program to collect data to analyze referee performance.
