Former Canadian Ice Hockey Player, Canada National Women’s Team

Angela James is a former Canadian ice hockey player who played at the highest levels of senior hockey between 1980 and 2000 and is considered the “first superstar of modern women’s hockey.” Angela achieved excellency at each level she played at, including winning 4 IIHF World Championships for Team Canada. She has been inducted into multiple halls of fame such as the Hockey Hall of Fame, the Ontario Colleges Athletic Association Hall of Fame, and Canada’s Sports Hall of Fame for her success as an athlete and contributions to the promotion of women’s hockey.
