President, International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF)

Former professional hockey player, Luc Tardif, was selected to be the President of the International Ice Hockey Federation (IIHF) in September, after spending 13 years with the organization across various roles. After joining the IIHF in 2008, Luc was a member of the Competition Committee. Then, he was elected to the council in 2010, appointed Treasurer in 2012, and finally, became the Finance Committee Chairman in 2016. These positions allowed Luc to gain the necessary experience that should position him to be a successful President for many years to come.
