Commissioner on the Independent Commission – World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA) & CEO – McLaren Global Sport Solutions Inc.

After Richard McLaren’s call to the bar in 1974, started a storied career in sports. As a member of the International Court of Arbitration for Sport, McLaren investigated the American Olympic athletes after the 2000 Sydney Games for the cover-up of their steroid use. In addition, McLaren also participated in the investigation of steroid use in Major League Baseball in 2007.

McLaren is also the founder and Chief Executive Officer of McLaren Global Sport Solutions Inc., where he consults with sport organizations about ethical issues. Recently, McLaren presented a report of the WADA Commission in Toronto, Ontario, indicating the manipulation of drug testing by the government of Russia during the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics.
