Prior to assuming his role with Yahoo! Canada, McAllister was the former Sports Editor for The Globe and Mail. In addition, he was a former Media Relations Manager for the National Hockey League Players’ Association and a former Ontario Hockey Association referee. McAllister covered the Toronto Blue Jays’ back-to-back World Series Championships in 1992 and 1993 as the National Baseball Writer for The Canadian Press. He was inducted into the Brockville and Area Sports Hall of Fame in June 2011, and has been the President of Sports Media Canada since May 2009.
