Executive Vice President and General Manager – Montreal Canadiens

Marc Bergevin has been the Executive Vice President and General Manager of the Montreal Canadiens since 2012. Prior to joining the Canadiens, he was a member of the Chicago Blackhawks organization in various roles, including Assistant General Manager, Director of Player Personnel, and Assistant Coach. His tenure with the Blackhawks also included a Stanley Cup win during the 2009-2010 season. Bergevin spent 20 seasons in the NHL as a defenseman after being drafted by the Chicago Blackhawks, 59th overall in the 1983 NHL entry draft. He represented Canada on the international stage, winning a gold medal at the 1994 World Junior Championship.
