Director of Pro Scouting – San Jose Sharks

John Ferguson was the Director of Pro Scouting for the San Jose Sharks from 2008 – 2014. Prior to the Sharks, he was the Vice-President and General Manager of the Toronto Maple Leafs. He also served on the management team, along with Steve Yzerman, for Team Canada at the 2007 World Championships, the youngest-ever squad to win a World Championship. Since leaving the Sharks, he became the Executive Director of Player Personnel for the Boston Bruins in June 2014. In this role, he is responsible for scouting at both the professional and amateur levels for all Bruins personnel.
