Commissioner – National Lacrosse League
Daniel has been the Commissioner of the National Lacrosse League since 2009. In 2015, Daniel announced he would be stepping down as Commissioner, a role in which he helped with a seven-year collective bargaining agreement with players, negotiated broadcast agreements, and added corporate partnerships with companies such as New Era and Under Armour. Daniel previously served as Deputy Commissioner and General Counsel for the NLL from 2000 to 2006 before leaving for one season to become President of the New York Titans.
