Assistant Executive Director of External Affairs – National Football League Players Association

George Atallah has been the Assistant Executive Director of External Affairs for the NFLPA since 2009, when he was asked to join Executive Director, DeMaurice Smith, as Smith’s first official hire. In this role, he manages the NFLPA’s media relations, strategic partnerships and fan outreach.

Atallah’s extensive professional experience constitutes financial services, non-profit organizations, international affairs, government and politics. Through his career, Atallah has developed media relations and crisis communications strategies, and implemented corporate communications plans.
