Dan MacKenzie is the first full-time President of the Canadian Hockey League (CHL), a role in which he has modernized the league’s broadcast strategy by securing new partnerships with TSN, RDS, and CBC. Prior to joining the CHL, Dan spent over two decades with NBA Canada, where he significantly expanded the league’s presence through television, advertising, social media, and grassroots engagement. He also played a key role in delivering major events, including the 2016 NBA All-Star Game in Toronto. Dan holds a Master’s degree in Sports Management from the University of Ohio, a Bachelor of Commerce from Brock University, a Bachelor of Education from McMaster University, and is a graduate of the George Brown Sport and Event Marketing Program.
