President, Rowing Canada

Carol Purcer is the President of Rowing Canada and has served in this position for the past seven years. Her involvement in the organization spans over twenty-five years and includes volunteering as an Umpire and as a member of several provincial and national committees. Carol has an educational background in sport, a Masters of Education in Organizational Studies and is a retired secondary school principal. Carol’s vision as president is to grow the sport of rowing in Canada by understanding the needs across the country and developing a plan to support the members of Rowing Canada in growing their clubs and high school programs.
