Chief Operating Officer at Canada Soccer

Mathieu Chamberland has been appointed this year as the new Chief Operating Officer for Canada Soccer. Formerly the General Director at Soccer Québec, Mathieu brings over five years of leadership experience to his new role. In his capacity as Chief Operating Officer, he will report directly to the Canada Soccer General Secretary and oversee Membership Relations, Events and Competitions, as well as Administration and Compliance. Based at Ottawa’s Canada Soccer House, Chamberland will lead staff operations, administration, and infrastructure strategy, ensuring strategic leadership for effective service delivery and efficient administrative support of the organization’s goals.
