Director of Hockey Operations, National Hockey League

Colin Campbell is the current Director of Hockey Operations for the NHL, overseeing much of the league’s disciplinary actions and monitoring its rules and regulations. Campbell began his hockey career as a defender in the OHL and in 1973, he was drafted 27th overall by the Pittsburgh Penguins. He spent 11 seasons in the NHL before retiring in 1985 and beginning his coaching career with the New York Rangers. Campbell has been working as an NHL executive since 1998.
