Director of Cultural Diversity and Inclusion, Ontario Hockey League
| Rico’s career in sport started back in the 1980s where he was a high school hockey referee. In 2010, Rico founded the Flint Inner-City Youth Hockey Program where he currently is the Executive Director and has been for over 12 years. In 2019, he was awarded the NHL’s Willie O’Ree Community Hero award. Currently, Rico is the Director of Cultural Diversity and Inclusion for the Ontario Hockey League (OHL). |
