Executive Vice President, Head of Distribution Scotiabank

John Doig has spent much of his professional career working for Scotiabank in various managerial positions such as Managing Director, Senior Vice President of Marketing, and Chief Marketing Officer. One of John’s most notable achievements working at Scotiabank was securing a 20-year partnership between Scotiabank and MLSE with the renaming of what was previously known as the Air Canada Centre to Scotiabank Arena in 2018. John’s current role at Scotiabank is Executive Vice President, Head of Distribution where he is responsible for “defining and implementing the strategic direction, goals and execution of key initiatives for Retail Banking in Canada.
