Director of NHL Central Scouting – The National Hockey League

Dan Marr is the Director of NHL Central Scouting. In this role, he is responsible for coordinating a staff of 29 scouts who watch and rate each season’s top draft-eligible prospects around the world. Before joining the NHL, Marr was the Director of Amateur Scouting and Player Development with the Atlanta Thrashers from 2003-2011. He joined the Thrashers as their Head Scout in 1998 after spending the previous 12 seasons with the Toronto Maple Leafs.
